Welcome the 3 ingredient Trail Mix. Our whole family loves this trail mix for eating as a snack at home or bringing on the go for a hike or picnic outside. I often take this to work and snack throughout the day. Nuts are heart healthy, full of fiber and protein and other important nutrients. Since you are making this yourself it is WAY cheaper than buying pre-made trail mix. You can also customize to include ingredients your family loves.
3 Ingredient Trail Mix
Ingredients
- Large bag of mixed nuts (I usually get a 30oz bag at Aldi)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir. Transfer to a mason jar or your storage container of choice and enjoy!
- Optional add ins: dried fruit such as apricots or pineapple, coconut flakes, cocoa nibs, peanut butter chips
